Israeli forces detain 12 Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli forces have detained at least 12 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank over the past 24 hours, according to prisoner advocacy groups.

In a joint statement, the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that the arrests took place during widespread raids across Hebron, Ramallah and Jenin.

The statement added that detainees were severely beaten and threats were made against their families.
