Freedom House calls on US to investigate weapons sales to Israel

The US based NGO, Freedom House, which focuses on political rights and civil liberties, urged US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to investigate Israel's usage of US military weapons abides by international humanitarian law.

"We urge you to make clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu that the Israeli government must do more to protect and facilitate humanitarian relief to Palestinian civilians," wrote interim president Nicole Bibbins Sedaca.

"We urge you to make clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu during his visit next month that the United States will fully uphold US law and suspend aid to anyone involved in violations," she added.
