Gaza's government media office confirms death of journalist in Jabalia

Wafa news agency earlier reported that journalist Hassan Hamad was killed in an Israel air strike on his home in northern Jabalia during the military's latest incursion into the camp.

His death has been confirmed by colleagues and Gaza's government media office.

Journalist Sulaiman Ahmed said in a post on X that Hamad was deliberately targeted by Israeli forces after receiving threats via messages and calls from Israeli officers, ordering him to stop his reporting.
