Israeli military says Palestinian shot dead following attack on soldiers

The Israeli army claimed its soldiers thwarted a "terrorist attack" when they shot dead a Palestinian who allegedly attempted to attack them near the occupied West Bank town of Hizma.

Wafa news agency reported that a young man was injured when Israeli forces opened fire on his vehicle between the towns of Hizma and Anata.
