Israeli ministers approve law that effectively reserves administrative detention for non-Jews

Israel's Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved a bill on Sunday that makes administrative only allowed if there are "reasonable grounds for assuming" that the person belongs to a terrorist organisation "whose goal is to undermine the existence of the state or commit terror against its citizens".

According to Haaretz, this bill would make it very difficult to issue administrative detention orders against Israeli settlers in the West Bank, as they are not considered a threat to the state of Israel.

The Israeli outlet says this law would effectively reserve administrative detention to Arabs and not Jews.
