Unrwa: 20,000 Palestinian refugees displaced by Israeli attacks in Lebanon
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) reported that about 20,000 Palestinian refugees have been forcibly displaced by Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
The agency said it has set up emergency shelters to house over 4,300 displaced people, adding that they are filling up fast amid intensifying Israeli bombardment.
In a post on X, the agency said it "stands ready to open more shelters and address increasing humanitarian needs as the situation worsens".
