Lebanon's Islamic Health Association has said that three of its paramedics have been killed in Israeli strikes targeting the organisation's centres in Jwayya, Majdal Zoun and Ainata, Al Mayadeen reported.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said that two "terrorist-supporting anarchists with German citizenship" who allegedly entered an Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank and "disturbed and clashed with soldiers" have been deported.
“A special team that I established in the Israel police as soon as the war broke out acted with determination and speed to arrest and deport them,” the far-right minister wrote in a post on X.
“That’s the only way it works.”
Gaza's Interior Ministry has urged Palestinian residents in the north of the strip to ignore Israeli instructions to flee to the already overcrowded "humanitarian" zones in the south.
“Israeli claims about the presence of safe zones in southern Gaza are lies as Israel commits crimes and massacres in all areas of the enclave,” the ministry said in a statement. “We call on citizens in northern Gaza to ignore Israeli threats.”
The Qassam Brigades, Hamas' paramilitary forces in Gaza, have said that fighters are waging "fierce battles" with Israeli soldiers in the "areas of incursion" in northern Gaza.
Last night, the Israeli army launched new incursions in the area, issuing evacuation orders for residents.
In a flash, everything changed for the Abd al-Aati family.
In early November, as Palestinians fled the Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City following relentless Israeli bombardment, matriarch Hala grabbed her grandson Taim, who was holding a white flag, a universal symbol of surrender, and they tried to make their way south.
As they passed through an evacuation route that had been declared safe, the unthinkable happened. While holding her grandson's hand, a shot rang out and Hala collapsed to the ground.
According to exclusive footage of the killing obtained by Middle East Eye, Taim was seen running towards a group of people who had been forced to take a different route to reach safety. His parents stayed behind, trying to provide his grandmother with urgent medical aid.
This marked the beginning of a year of torment for the Abd al-Aati family, during which their lives became a roller coaster.
After being separated from his son for a staggering seven months and suffering countless rounds of displacement, Yousef Abd al-Aati recalled the fateful events of that day and described the impact of the separation and a year of war on his son.
"On 12 November 2023, the tanks reached our area and surrounded us, so we tried to flee. My mother-in-law was holding our son Taim’s hand, who was waving a white flag [as we crossed the street]. She was shot by a sniper and died immediately," Yousef Abd al-Ati told MEE.
"Amid the chaos of the situation, my son, Taim, was taken by some people who were also heading south and remained separated from us for seven months," he said.

Israeli strikes across Lebanon yesterday killed 23 people and injured 93 others, the country's health ministry said today.
The attacks targeted towns and villages in southern Lebanon, Nabatieh, the eastern governorate of Beqaa, Baalbek-Hermel, Mount Lebanon and the north, the ministry said in a post on X.
These figures do not include the death toll from the overnight bombardment of Beirut's southern suburbs.
The Israeli army has issued new evacuation orders for almost the entirety of northern Gaza, as its forces launched deadly new incursions on Jabalia and Beit Lahia overnight.
In Jabalia, Israeli tanks have encircled the camp, trapping families in their homes and shelters. This followed a night of deadly strikes targeting residential homes, which killed several Palestinians, including journalist Hassan Hamad, according to Wafa news agency.
“The troops of the 401st Brigade and the 460th Brigade have successfully encircled the area and are currently continuing to operate in the area,” the Israeli military said in a statement.
It added that the new incursion is aimed at targeting "terrorists and terror infrastructure", though no evidence was presented for these claims.
The Israeli army has instructed Palestinians in northern Gaza to flee to the already overcrowded al-Mawasi "humanitarian zone". The Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (Cogat) subsequently announced the "expansion" of the zone.
At least 24 Palestinians, including children, have been killed in two separate Israeli attacks on a mosque and school where hundreds of displaced people were sheltering in central Gaza.
Twenty-one Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque in Deir al-Balah and a further three people were killed in an attack on Ibn Rushd school in al-Zawaida.
“These two heinous massacres come after a series of atrocities committed by the Israeli army, including airstrikes on 27 homes, schools and shelters across Gaza over the past 48 hours, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Palestinians,” Gaza's government media office said in a statement.
Turkey's Anadolu news agency, citing medical sources, reported that many of the victims were children. According to the report, emergency teams said several children's bodies arrived at hospitals decapitated.
According to the enclave's health ministry, 45 Palestinians have been killed and 256 injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours.
The death toll of Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israeli forces has reached 41,870, with another 97,166 injured, the Palestinian health ministry said today.
