'Brexit' is used by the media to term a British exit from the European Union (MEE)

With less than 48 hours to go before polls open in the UK to decide whether the country remains part of the European Union, political leaders across the globe are preparing to deal with the fallout if Britain decides to exit the EU, a scenario the media have termed "Brexit."
