Calling freelance feature writers

Middle East Eye has a strong and growing features section and we are looking for new freelance writers, based in the Middle East, to work with. Our remit is very wide and we cover countries from Mauritania across North Africa, the Middle East and Gulf states to Iran.

Middle East Eye covers major political stories in our news and columns sections, so for features we are always looking for stories that are lighter, people-focused and put a new spin on issues. We welcome pitches on arts, culture, music, profiles, interviews, religion, tradition, human interest stories etc..
