Death toll in Gaza approaches 42,000 amid ongoing Israeli attacks

Gaza's death toll continues to rise, with the health ministry reporting that at least 41,788 people have been killed and 96,794 have been wounded by Israeli military attacks since 7 October.
In the latest 24-hour period, 99 Palestinians were killed, and 169 were wounded.
