EU calls for independent probe into Majdal Shams attack

The European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has called for a “independent international investigation into this unacceptable incident” after a missile hit a football pitch in Majdal Shams, in the occupied Golan Heights.

“I strongly condemn this bloodbath,” Borrell said on X.
