Iranian foreign minister had 'important consultations' in Qatar

We reported earlier that Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is meeting with his Qatari counterpart and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei has described the talks as “important consultations” about the current situation in the Middle East.

“It is only responsible for all states to maximise their efforts to shield our region against an imposed catastrophe by stopping genocide in Gaza and aggression on Lebanon,” he said on X after the talks.
