Israel issues forced expulsion orders for one-quarter of Lebanon's coastline

The Israeli military has issued forced expulsion orders for about one-quarter of Lebanon’s southern coastline, from the mouth of the Awali River to the Israeli-Lebanese border, ahead of an upcoming maritime attack.

The Israeli army ordered vacationers, residents, and local fishermen to avoid the sea and the beaches in the area.

"Being on the beach and boat movements in the area of the Awali River line southward pose a danger to your life," the warning stated.

The Awali River flows into the Mediterranean Sea just north of Sidon (Saida) and the Litani River.
