Israeli army prohibits Palestinians from going to sea during temporary truce

The Israeli army issued a warning early on Sunday, the third day of the temporary truce, outlining restrictions for Palestinians in Gaza.

The statement, posted on social media platform X, says that civilians are not allowed to move south, are not allowed to move north and are prohibited from entering the sea.

Many Palestinians flocked to the sea during the temporary truce for a brief respite following seven weeks of constant bombardment.

During the war, some Palestinians were forced to go to the sea to shower and wash their clothes after Israel cut off all water for the Strip.
