Israeli attack on Unrwa school used US-made missiles: Al Jazeera investigation

Missiles used in an Israeli attack against an Unrwa school were equipped with a US-manufactured guidance system, an investigation by Al Jazeera has found.

At least 40 people were killed when Israeli forces attacked a school that was serving as a shelter for disabled people in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza this morning.

The news probe, which was carried out by the Qatari network's Sanad news verification agency, identified that the arms used in the shelling were made by an American company, Honeywell, that specialises in precision guidance systems. 

It says similar systems were used in an Israeli attack on a Palestinian home in the Shujayea neighbourhood in occupied Gaza in 2014.

The investigation also suggests that two components from the previous bombing and today's attack on the school carry the same manufacturer and category numbers.
