Poll suggests majority of British 18-24-year-olds think Israel 'should not exist'

A new poll has suggested that a majority of 18-24-year-olds in the UK think that the state of Israel "should not exist".

The polling, conducted by Focaldata for the website UnHerd, found that 54 percent of the age group agreed with the statement "The state of Israel should not exist” compared with 7 percent of 65-year-olds and older.

21 percent of 18-24-year-olds disagreed with the statement.

The new polling also found that 50 percent of the age group blamed Israel for the ongoing violence in Gaza, compared with 25 percent who thought Hamas was to blame.
