Akari's body to be given over to family tonight for burial

The body of Ibrahim al-Akari, who was shot dead by Israeli police in Jerusalem today, will be handed over to his family at around 11pm (2100 GMT) tonight.

Akari was shot dead after driving a van into a group of people at a light rail station in Jerusalem - killing one police officer and injuring 14 others.

He will be buried at Bab al-Asbat in the city.
