According to the UN, Palestinians in the devastated northern Gaza Strip, where humanitarian aid has been slower to arrive amid Israeli military attacks, continue to be forced to move south.

The UN stated that it is collaborating with its partners to register and deliver aid to these displaced individuals, who must navigate dangerous roads while carrying their remaining belongings.

A crowd of over 200 people gathered Wednesday at San Francisco Airport to welcome a Palestinian teen who lost both his legs and half of his left hand in an Israeli strike in Gaza. The 15-year-old, known only by his first name, Ahmed, will receive prosthetic and rehabilitative treatment in the US after being wounded by a bombing in Khan Younis on 16 February.

The crowd brought gifts, banners and flowers. Dozens of children also showed their support.

Bay Area emergency room doctor Mohammad Subeh, who treated Ahmed as part of his second medical mission in Gaza, was among the people receiving the teen.

Dr Subeh called Ahmed’s survival a “miracle”, given the low probability of surviving a double amputation, especially in conflict zone conditions.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) recently said that all healthcare facilities in southern Gaza are at “breaking point”.

On Thursday, Australia imposed sanctions on seven Israelis for their involvement in violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The announcement from the Australian foreign ministry did not disclose the names of the individuals, but Australian media identified them as Elisha Yered, a former parliamentary aide to Jewish Power parliamentarian Limor Son Har-Melech; Yinon Levy, Zvi Bar Yosef, Neria Ben-Pazi, David Hai Hisdai, Eitan Tanjil, and Meir Ettinger.

According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), officials from the US, Israel and certain Arab states support the idea of Mohammed Dahlan, a highly controversial former Palestinian security chief and Fatah member, governing Gaza after the war as part of a "day after plan".

The WSJ report suggests that negotiators view Dahlan as a temporary solution for post-war Gaza's leadership. They consider him a suitable figure for managing security in the region, acceptable to Israel, Hamas and foreign powers, including the US and Arab Gulf states.

However, the pro-Israel conservative WSJ did not cite its sources for these claims.

In 2007, the Bush administration funded Dahlan with money and weapons in an attempt to overthrow the democratically elected Hamas. The plan failed, and Dahlan fled the territory.

He now lives in luxury in the United Arab Emirates and has extensive business dealings, including in Serbia.

A 2008 Vanity Fair article on Dahlan's attempt to take over the Gaza Strip stated: "There is no one more hated amongst Hamas members than Muhammad Dahlan, long Fatah’s resident strongman in Gaza."

US President George W. Bush once described Dahlan as “our guy".

Um Yousef and her husband have lived in their home in the Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarem in the occupied Palestinian West Bank ever since they married 43 years ago.

And they are still there today. Even though it’s in ruins. The furniture smashed. No outside wall. Rubble everywhere. We are sitting on plastic chairs in what used to be the kitchen. There’s no running water or electricity.

Um Yousef says she has no intention of moving out and nor has her husband.

“This is the investment of 40 years of our life.”

She says she misses her sons and grandchildren, whose school books can still be seen scattered amid the debris. They used to live on the top floor but Israeli soldiers destroyed the stairs so they had to move out.

Wearing a keffiyeh around his face, and a Palestine flag hoodie, a man in a recent viral video proclaimed in Arabic that “rivers of blood” would flow through the streets of Paris during the upcoming Olympics.

In the video, first posted to X on Sunday, the masked man lambasts the French people, and President Emmanuel Macron, for supporting “the Zionist regime in its criminal war against the people of Palestine”.

“You invited the Zionists to the Olympic Games. You will pay for what you have done,” he said, referring to the event that begins later this week.

“Rivers of blood will flow through the streets of Paris. This day is approaching, God willing. Allah is the greatest,” the man concluded, before holding up a fake severed head.

Social media users were quick to attribute the video to Hamas - an accusation the group denied.

On Wednesday, the United States criticised an Israeli bill that seeks to designate the UN agency for Palestinian refugees as a terrorist organisation, calling such efforts “incredibly unhelpful.”

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller stated, “UNRWA is not a terrorist organisation, and we urge the Israeli government and the Knesset to stop advancing this legislation.”

He added, “The Israeli government’s attacks on UNRWA are highly counterproductive. They do nothing to further the goal of delivering humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced a depleted House when he addressed a joint seating of the US Congress on Wednesday, after dozens of lawmakers opted to either boycott or skip his speech.

Reasons given for not being present for Netanyahu's address range from opposition to his far-right government to opposing his approach to the war on Gaza to having scheduling conflicts.

Outside the US Capitol building and across downtown Washington DC, thousands of pro-Palestinian and anti-war activists from all over the country were on the streets to show their ire against the Israeli war on Gaza, with their centre of attention being Netanyahu, who they accuse of leading a genocide on Palestinians in Gaza.

The goal of the protesters: arrest Netanyahu for alleged war crimes and genocide committed by Israeli forces in Gaza.
