A young woman and five young men were shot with live bullets during clashes in Ramallah, al-Quds television is reporting. One of the men is believed to have been shot in the stomach and is in a serious condition.
A rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel. It exploded but did not cause any causalities. The Iron Dome system, which is designed to intercept rocket fire, has been deployed to southern Israel since last night, Israeli media said. On Friday, rockets fired from Gaza failed to reach Israel and are believed to have exploded inside the strip.
A 16-year-old Israeli was stabbed in Jerusalem, north of the Old City. The teen was moderately injured. His assailant has since been arrested, Israeli security sources said.

Overnight, clashes between Palestinian protestors police and broke out in Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem. One Palestinian youth was killed and two others are in a critical condition.
Two elderly Israeli men were wounded in a stabbing near Jerusalem’s Old City, which reportedly happened after they left the synagogue. They reportedly received only mild or moderate injuries. The 16-year-old Palestinian assailant was shot and killed at the scene.
Images of the teen yielding a knife have since appeard online.
Palestinians remain divided about whether the ongoing tensions and violence amount to a new Intifada.
A Palestinian taxi driver from the West Bank told an MEE contributor this morning that:
"This is not a Third Intifada, it's the war of freedom. It's been 67 years we don't want another Intifada."
But a 21-year-old Palestinian from Bethlehem disagreed:
"We are fighting the Third Intifada, there is no question about that now."
