The Israeli military conducted strikes on over 50 towns and villages in southern Lebanon overnight, according to Lebanon's National News Agency.
Israeli strikes also hit the southern city of Nabatieh for a third time this week, as well as targeting Haret Hreik and Hadath - two neighbourhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs, an area colloquially known as Dahiyeh.

- A deadly Israeli attack on Beit Lahiya, a town in northern Gaza, killed at least 73 Palestinians and wounded over 100 others, according to Gaza's government media office. Israeli air strikes targeted a multi-floor building and damaged a number of nearby houses. Many people were missing under the rubble, with emergency teams struggling to reach them

An Israeli air strike killed four water engineers in Gaza on Saturday who had been working with an organisation partnered with Oxfam in the Khuzaa area in Khan Younis.
Oxfam said the men were working with its strategic partner the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU).
"The four men were killed on their way to conduct repairs to water infrastructure in Khuzaa, east of Khan Younis. Despite prior coordination with Israeli authorities their clearly-marked vehicle was bombed," the NGO said on Saturday.
"Dozens of engineers, civil servants and humanitarian workers have been killed in Israeli air strikes throughout this war. They were all working on essential services to keep Gaza's fragile infrastructure running."
Oxfam said the movements of the men had been coordinated with Israeli authorities to ensure their safety, but they were still targeted by an Israeli strike.
"Attacks on civilian infrastructure and those who maintain it are clear violations of international humanitarian law. Those responsible must be held to account. Such attacks are part of the crime of using starvation as a weapon of war," the UK-founded charity said.
"Oxfam demands an independent investigation into this and other attacks on essential workers. We reiterate our calls for a ceasefire, an immediate halt to arms transfers to Israel, and the international community to ensure Israel is held accountable for its continued assault on civilians and those working to deliver life-saving services."
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, in Beit Lahiya, made a statement a few minutes ago following Israel's deadly attack.
Hossam Abu Safia said that many of the wounded had now died due to a severe lack of resources, medical supplies and specialised personnel at the facility.
He said that dozens were missing under the rubble, and could not be rescued "due to the lack of resources and ongoing strikes".
The Israeli attack on Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza has killed at least 73 people and wounded over 100 others, according to Gaza's government media office.
"This is a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing. The occupation has conducted a horrifying massacre in Beit Lahiya," the media office said. It added that women and children were among the casualties.
Medics in Gaza reported that Israeli air strikes targeted a multi-floor building and damaged a number of nearby houses.
The attack shook the entire western part of the town, and buildings collapsed while people were inside, Al Jazeera reported. Residents were given no warnings to leave their homes.
Many people were left trapped under the rubble, with paramedics and civil defence crew unable to immediately reach the area due to the intensity of Israeli bombardment.

The US has apologised to Israel after alleged US defence department documents detailing Israeli planning for a potential attack on Iran were leaked online.
The documents outline Israel's preparations for a response to Iran's long-range missile attack on 1 October.
Haaretz reported, citing an Israeli source, that Washington had apologised to Israel for the leak. The authenticity of the leak has not been confirmed.
The documents mention plans to arm Israeli planes with air launched ballistic missiles, and the concealment of fortified underground warplane bunkers at Israel's Hatzerim airbase.
The documents were published on Friday by Middle East Spectator, a Telegram account, which said it received them from an American intelligence source.

"The Iranian proxies who attempted to assassinate Prime Minister Netanyahu and his family today have once again exposed Iran's true face and the evil axis it leads," Israel Katz wrote on X.
"I fully support the Prime Minister's statement and emphasize: Israel will continue to strike terrorists and their sponsors with strength and determination, wherever and whenever necessary, until we achieve all our goals. Israel's enemies will pay a heavy price for any attempt to harm our citizens, soldiers and leaders."

US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin has said that Washington wants to see Israel "scale back" some of its strikes in and around the Lebanese capital.
"The number of civilian casualties have been far too high," Austin told reporters at a G7 defence gathering in Naples, Italy.
"We’d like to see Israel scale back on some of the strikes it’s taking, especially in and around Beirut, and we’d like to see things transition to some sort of negotiation that will allow civilians on both sides of the border to return to their homes."
Earlier on Saturday, Israel forces carried out heavy strikes on several locations in Beirut's southern suburbs.
