The conflict in Yemen started in March, after Houthi fighters siezed the capital Sanaa from government control. Neighbouring Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia, then began an air campaign against the rebels, and the fighting has since escalated into an all-out civil war. The humanitarian situation has become increasingly dire.
