Hamas says 'Gaza still fights on' as Israel strikes enclave for second night
A Hamas spokesman said on Saturday that "Gaza still fights and doesn't break" after the Israeli military said it had conducted air strikes against targets in the besieged enclave after a rocket attack from the Palestinian side.
In the second such exchange in as many days, the strikes hit what the military described as "terror targets" operated by Hamas, which governs Gaza.
They included a "training facility, an anti-aircraft missile launcher post, a concrete production plant and terror tunnel infrastructure," the army said.
Witnesses and security sources said the strikes hit two "training sites" in southern Gaza and another target in central Gaza.
The strikes came hours after a rocket was fired into southern Israel from the enclave, AFP reported.

An Israeli army spokesperson said the rocket hit open ground and caused no casualties or damage.
Late on Thursday, the Israeli military launched air strikes on Gaza that caused no casualties after a rocket was fired at southern Israel.
Israel has maintained a crippling blockade of the Gaza Strip since 2007, which critics say amounts to collective punishment of the impoverished enclave's two million residents.
Egypt also upholds the siege, restricting movement in and out of Gaza on its border.
