Israeli raid kills 23-year-old Palestinian woman in Jenin
A Palestinian woman died from her wounds on Friday after she was shot by an Israeli soldier during an army raid in Jenin's al-Jabriyath neighbourhood in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said Dalya Samhoudi, a 23-year-old mother of three, was hit by a bullet to the chest which penetrated her liver. She was then taken to intensive care where she died on Friday.
A close friend of Samhoudi's said she was shot as she prepared to give her baby milk, and was drawn to the window as she tried to shut tear gas out.
The Wafa news agency said the Israeli army shot at the ambulance called to take Samhoudi to hospital.
During the raid early on Friday, the Israeli army stormed the home of former Palestinian prisoner Khaled Suleiman Abu Hassan.

The raid on Hassan's home led to confrontations between local youth and Israeli soldiers, who fired bullets, tear gas and sound bombs.
The Israeli army told AFP that it had no knowledge of Samhoudi and said that a "routine" operation turned into a riot.
