Israeli forces fatally shoot two Palestinian teens in occupied East Jerusalem
Israeli forces fatally shot two teenage Palestinians during separate incidents in occupied East Jerusalem on Sunday.
A 16-year-old was shot and killed at an Israeli army post in Abu Dis, just outside the holy city, according to Palestinian officials. An Israeli military spokesperson said that the teen was shot after he allegedly threw a molotov cocktail at the post.

Another teen was killed later on Sunday in the walled Old City after allegedly stabbing one of the Israeli police officers stationed at one of the city gates with a knife.
An Israeli police spokesperson, calling the 19-year-old a "terrorist", said other policemen nearby opened fire, resulting in his death. Two officers were lightly wounded, police said, one by the alleged stabbing and one during the police gunfire.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that "Israeli extremists" were arrested by Israeli forces on Sunday "on racial and national grounds after they carried out an attack against a church in Jerusalem", vandalising property. It was unclear if the incident was related.
Israeli forces shot and killed five Palestinians, including one child, in three separate incidents across the West Bank between 8 and 21 February, according to the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (Ocha). A total of 544 Palestinians, including 54 children, were injured during that same time period. Meanwhile, no Israelis were killed and five were wounded in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, Ocha reported.
Israel captured occupied East Jerusalem, including the Old City, in the 1967 Middle East war and annexed it in a move not recognised internationally.
