In pictures: Protesters in Washington condemn Biden's support for Israel
US President Joe Biden spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Israel bombed the offices of the Associated Press and Middle East Eye in Gaza. Failing to condemn the attack, Biden shared "concern" for journalists' safety.
On Saturday, around 2,000 protesters gathered in America's capital to voice support for Palestinians and denounce the US administration's stance.

"The Biden administration came into office, saying that they were going to be the human rights administration, saying that they were going to flip the page on the previous administration," says Taher Herzallah, associate director of outreach at American Muslims for Palestine.
"During the bombardment, during the massacres in Gaza, the Biden administration has condemned the oppressed, instead of the oppressors."
