The now infamous Balfour Declaration was signed 99 years ago this Wednesday.
It saw Britain pledge support for a Jewish state in historic Palestine.
Palestinian activists are now sharing a petition demanding an apology from Britain, while Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has stated his intention to sue over the decision.
