A month-old baby girl was pulled alive from the rubble, bloodied and covered in dust, following pro-government air strikes on rebel-held Idlib, northwest Syria.

In a video uploaded to social media, a White Helmets volunteer was shown breaking down in tears as he rescued the infant and carried her to a hospital.

Activists and local sources say at least 20 civilians were killed in air strikes targeting Idlib city and the town of Jarjanaz in the city's eastern countryside on Thursday.
