Houthis and their supporters continue to join the sit-ins blocking the road to the airport in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen.
The protesters are staying firm in their demands that the government step down and put an end to fuel price hikes.
As the Yemeni government steps up its crackdown on the Houthi protesters, the Houthis say they will continue their revolution until the government steps down from power and restores fuel subsidies.
On Monday, protesters warned that they will declare the protests a "code red" if the government fails to meet their demands, without specifying what exactly that this escalation would entail. Their warning came a day before seven Houthi rebels were killed by government forces in the capital.
