Yousef Mawry reports for MEE from Yemen on a compelling story about a father and his poverty-stricken family forced to sweep the streets and pick up trash in the streets of Sanaa, Yemen for a small profit to make ends meet.
The story brings to viewers the true reality of poverty in Yemen and what poor families are forced to do to put food on the table.
For Mohamed Abdu Hassan, who is the main focus of this story, he and his two young sons go from door to door asking home owners if they will allow them to clean their yard and pick up trash for food or for a humble profit.
Mohamed Abdu Hassan says he prays to god that his two young boys will one day go to college and not have to pick up trash for the rest of their lives.
