WATCH: Bringing Palestinians closer to home - and one another
Once a month, a new initiative, Tijwal Safar, takes at least 100 young Palestinians to locations across the occupied territories to build awareness of Palestinian land and history.
Often touring Palestinian land that is at risk of being confiscated or turned into Israeli settlements, the project runs daylong trips, giving Palestinians a chance to explore important historical sites.
But with the fragmentation of Palestinian people hindering communication between different regions, even within the West Bank, Tijwal Safar also aims to promote closer ties between young people and unite them in their struggle against the occupation.
