An estimated 100,000 people turned up on the streets of Tel Aviv on Friday to celebrate the 16th annual Gay Pride parade.

The event was the best attended pride march yet and saw central Tel Aviv transformed into a glittering array of rainbow flags and balloon installations.

The festivities have raged for seven straight days, with musical events, film screenings, festivals and parties all being set up to mark the occasion.
