France’s interior minister, Gérald Darmanin, has ordered an investigation into the 76 mosques, and also the deportation of 66 migrants on suspicion of ‘radicalism’.
The measures are part of a crackdown on all forms of ‘extremism’, following a series of attacks earlier this year.
