Israel: Ben Gvir rushed to hospital after car accident
Israeli far-right minister Itamar Ben Gvir has been rushed to hospital after he was involved in a car accident in central Israel on Friday.
The national security minister was reportedly near Ramla when the accident happened.
According to Israeli media, his car had run a red light before the accident. Video footage of the accident was posted on social media.
Ben Gvir had been visiting the site of a suspected stabbing attack in Ramla prior to the accident.

Police now say they are investigating the cause of the crash.
Times of Israel said there had been numerous reports in recent months that Ben Gvir's official vehicle had committed several traffic violations.
He was involved in another accident last August when his vehicle again ran a red light en route to an interview.
According to Israeli media, he regularly instructs his driver to ignore traffic rules.
