Hamas says it rejects plans for foreign forces entering Gaza

Hamas said on Friday that it will not accept plans to impose foreign forces on Gaza, adding that the administration of the Strip is for Palestinians alone.

The Palestinian people (...) will not allow any guardianship or the imposition of any external solutions or equations," it said.

In June, the group said in response to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's call for the deployment of international troops in the Gaza Strip, that it would attack them like any other "occupation forces."
