Four things you missed in Gaza since Israel's Lebanon bombings
Since Israel began its deadly bombing campaign in Lebanon, its forces continue to pound Gaza, with the Palestinian death toll surging to at least 41,467.
Here are some key things you may have missed:
At least 10 killed in Israeli attacks on schools
On Monday, Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinians, including five women and children, in strikes on schools sheltering displaced people in the Nuseirat and al-Shati refugee camps.
This follows the killing of at least 32 Palestinians, including 16 children, in a slew of Israeli attacks on schools sheltering displaced people over three days, according to the UN humanitarian agency.

On 21 September, 22 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on al-Zaytun School in Gaza City. Another seven people were killed the following day in an attack on Kafar Qasam School also in Gaza City.
Also on Sunday, a Palestinian girl and her parents were killed in an attack on Khalid Bin Waleed school in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The UN humanitarian agency, OCHA, called on the Israeli military “to stop attacking schools that provide the last shelter to Palestinians in Gaza”.
Israeli strikes on central and southern Gaza kill 12
Since last night, at least 12 Palestinians were killed in a series of strikes on Khan Younis, Deir el-Balah and the Bureij refugee camp.
On Tuesday, two residential houses were targeted after midnight in Khan Younis, killing at least seven Palestinians according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Meanwhile, another two people were killed in a drone strike targeting their vehicle east of Deir el-Balah in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Three Palestinians were also killed and others wounded in an Israeli bombardment of a house in the Bureij refugee camp, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.
Heavy rains flood makeshift camps
Heavy rains have flooded displaced people’s tents across Gaza, washing some of them away and forcing families out into the open.
"Shelters were blown apart and people's belongings destroyed," Unrwa said. The UN agency said there was an urgent need to increase humanitarian access into the Gaza Strip and there are "nowhere near enough tarps and tents".
AP reported that in Mawasi, an area located to the west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, children walked barefoot through mud that reached above their ankles, while men tried to recover belongings and canned goods from the muck.
According to Reuters, the price of new tents and plastic sheeting has soared.
Hamas ambushes Israeli military convoy
The armed wing of Hamas, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said on Monday it ambushed a convoy of Israeli armoured vehicles in Rafah.
The group claimed its fighters managed to lure the convoy into a "well-prepared ambush" and attacked them with anti-tank rockets and detonated planted explosive devices.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.
