Israeli army says three senior Hamas officials killed in Gaza three months ago

The Israeli army killed three senior Hamas officials in Gaza three months ago but only announced the incident on Thursday.

According to a statement by the army, the following Hamas officials were killed in an air strike three months ago:

Rawhi Mushtaha, the head of the Hamas government in Gaza.

Sameh al-Siraj, who held the security portfolio on Hamas' political bureau and Hamas' labour committee.

Sami Oudeh, commander of Hamas' General Security Mechanism.

The army said its fighter jets killed the officials while they were in an “underground compound” in northern Gaza.
