Video emerges of the moment a bomb exploded killing dozens in Suruc
At least 28 people were killed and nearly 100 injured on Monday in a suicide attack in the Turkish town of Suruc near the border with Syria.
A video has emerged of the moment the bomb exploded, which took place at a cultural centre in Suruc where people had gathered to discuss the rebuilding of Kobane, the devastated Kurdish town nearby on the Syrian side of the border.
The cause of the blast in the town - which lies opposite the Syrian flashpoint of Kobane - was not immediately clear.
However, a government official speaking to AFP said that the authorities had “strong reason” to believe that the Islamic State group had carried out the attack.
"The Turkish authorities have strong reason to believe that the terrorist attack was perpetrated by ISIS [IS]," the official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said.
