Netanyahu backs bill to stop mosque ‘noise’
The bill has been denounced by the Palestinian authority as divisive and discriminatory

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly stated his support for a bill to ban mosques from amplifying the Muslim call to prayer on speakers. The measure has already been imposed on three mosques in Jerusalem and a bill was pushed through on Sunday.
