Iraqi PM: Foreign ground troops not wanted or necessary
Also urges expansion of the conflict into Syria.

Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has told the Associated Press that ground troops are neither wanted nor necessary in the fight against the Islamic State.
He also urged an expansion of the conflict against the IS into Syria.
