Mads Gilbert is a Norwegian emergency medicine specialist who has made frequent trips to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza since 1982.

A firm advocate of the right for Palestinians to resist occupation within the confines of International law, Gilbert says Israel is intent on wiping out the Palestinian people.
"There shall be no trace of Palestinian society, culture, history because they going to be wiped out… This is I think the plan for the Zionists," he says.
