Resul Serdar Atas is based in Turkey and a Senior Correspondent at Al Jazeera English, where he covers Turkey and surrounding countries in Europe and Asia. Previously, he has worked as Al Jazeera Turk’s Head of Middle East Desk and then joined TRT World as Managing Editor. Later he served as Managing Editor and Director Current Affairs and Programmes at TRT World. After completing TRT World’s establishment, he moved to TRT Arabi as a head to relaunch it. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in international law at Brunel University London.
