Aniseh Bassiri Tabrizi and Sarah Lain
Aniseh Bassiri Tabrizi is a Research Analyst at RUSI. Her research is concerned with security in the Middle East, with a particular focus on Iran’s foreign and domestic politics. She is also a PhD candidate at the War Studies Department of King’s College London, where she is working toward completion of a project on the diplomatic initiative of France, Germany and the UK (E3) on the Iranian nuclear issue.
Sarah Lain is a Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), where she specialises in Russia and the CIS. Her research has focused on Russia’s foreign policy in Syria and Ukraine, Russia-China relations and China’s growing influence in Central Asia.
