Ehsan Zia was the Afghanistan Country Director at USIP leading on support for the intra-Afghan negotiations. He was the former Minister for Rural Rehabilitation and Development from 2006 to 2010. He has over 35 years of experience in peacebuilding and recovery and has received several awards for his work.
