Oğuz Kaan Salıcı studied Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. He is a founding member of the Social Democracy Foundation (SODEV), established in 1994 and is a member of the Social Political Economic Research Foundation of Turkey (TÜSES). Salıcı was elected Member of Parliament first in 2015, still MP for İstanbul from CHP, main opposition party of Türkiye. Member of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
