Sarah Giaziri is the Middle East and North Africa program officer at the Rory Peck Trust. The trust supports freelance news-gatherers and their families worldwide in times of need, raises their profile, promotes their welfare and safety, and supports their right to report freely and without fear. Her areas of focus include Syria and Libya following the uprisings in both countries. She holds a degree in international relations, a master’s degree in human rights, and a postgraduate degree in law.
