Torrential rains have caused flash flooding in the earthquake-ravaged southeastern provinces of Turkey, Sanliurfa and Adiyaman, bringing life to a standstill. Many buildings were damaged and vehicles were washed away, while tents of earthquake survivors were also flooded.
The governor of Sanliurfa, Salih Ayhan, has reported that five people lost their lives in the province and one person in Adiyaman, while five others across both regions are missing, including some who tried to drive their vehicles to safety.
