Iran: Kurdish-language teacher given 10-year jail sentence

Zahra Mohammadi, a Kurdish-language teacher in Iran’s Kurdistan province, has been given a 10-year jail sentence for ‘forming a group against national security’.

She is the director of Nojin Cultural Association, which teaches and promotes Kurdish language and identity.
