Russia’s secret military contractors accused of war crimes in Libya

For years, Russia secretly financed and operated a private military group deployed to fight alongside its allies in Syria and Libya, a new investigation has concluded.

The Wagner Group has been accused of war crimes after documents, weapons and electronic equipment belonging to its fighters were found in the battlefield abandoned by Khalifa Haftar in Tripoli.
