Sri Lanka: State of emergency declared after president flees country

Sri Lankan protesters stormed the prime minister's office in the capital Colombo on Wednesday after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled the country, following months of demonstrations over the island nation's economic crisis.

Later, a state of emergency and a curfew were declared.
