Surfers of Gaza

The sailing team club in Gaza City consists of ten surfers, who are also master sailors. Qatar, after several attempts, managed to deliver five sailing boats to Gaza City. In the last Israeli offensive against Gaza, Israel destroyed three of the five boats that were at Gaza port.  Nevertheless, young Gazan sailors are eager to continue their sport activities and train more in foreign countries. Despite the siege the surfers still try to use the limited access they have to the ocean to indulge in their passion for water sports.  This team aspires to be an athletic team and participate in international competitions[[{"fid":"11766","view_mode":"default","fields":{"format":"default"},"type":"media","link_text":null,"attributes":{"height":"315","width":"560","class":"media-element file-default"}}]]
